I have been working on a map with tunnels.
The problem I am having is that some of the enemies pop up to the surface. I have them placed well in the rooms so that they are away from the walls.

if only some of them are appearing on surface level, then they are overlapping another object IE the tunnel piece.
they may be in the middle of the room , but are their feet slightly through the floor, or are they even through the support joists of the room which can only be seen when the room is selected

I think I got some more BGs to stay in the tunnels.
Some of them are in the tunnels until gun fire or action takes place then they teleport to the surface, unless they are attached to a 50cal or similar emplacement.
I'm trying to put patrols in the tunnels also, but that is not going well.
