Post subject: Battlefield 2 Bad Company review by Chevy:  PostPosted: May 24, 2010 - 09:58 AM

Sergeant
I play Battlefield 2-Bad Company, now for some weeks (day and night lol).
It is realy great.
Think this game comes most near of all todays games, for what we played DFX.

Millions of players play this now, so a lot of servers are up.
Took me some weeks even to come into the highscore ranks.
First notification of your rank starts on leaderboard place 250.000!!!!!!!
4 personalities you can choose of.
Assault
Engineer
Medic
Recon (sniper)

You can change this plus weapons every time you respawn.

You can respawn random or on a teammate, by clicking him in the mini map.
So in a view seconds you can be in the battle on front again.

Very nice bonus and upgrade system for points and weapons.

Best of all, you can destroy everything you see , like cars trees and complete houses.
For instance when you are hiding on topfloor in a house, just blow a hole in the wall, so you can snipe everything in town almost unseen.

In the game it's very difficult to servive long in maps with 16 or even 32 players.

After a view weeks you will be glad to have a kill/dead ratio of 1/1. Smile

Played the game with Dualcore 8400 3000 mhz and 4 Gb ram and 8800 Gts 512 in 1024x800 medium

Now whith a cheap ? 5770 overclocked ATI i can play it in 1280x960 on high graphics.

This game is a must have.

Sergeant
If you have a legal version of the game, then punkbuster comes along with it.
You only can earn points on the leader board when punkbuster is on, on your pc and at the server who hosts the game.
Thanks for that, because a lot of cheaters are thrown out of the game, by using aimbots.

Don't think cheaters have much chance now.

Your firewall could be too high Doc.

Could be a cooling problem, some cards produce a heat equal of 230 Watt.
Try it, be removing the left side panel of your case.
This mostly decreases cpu temp by some 15 degrees Celsius.

Second possibility is your powerunit.
Depending the graphics card you need some 600 till 800 Watt output.
