Post subject: Raptor Pack Flag
Gents and Ladies,
Yesterday I had an American Flag flown on a Stealth Predator UAV for a Recon and possibly (cant tell you yet) offensive operation over Iraq. I will be having the flag fly over in a State Department Helo; Join Blackwater Security for a flyover mission to Basra; Spend a few LOUD moments with a Paladin Tank while shooting rounds into Al Nasiriyah at Iranian Al Queida insurgents in the night; make a trip to the Joint Base Defense Operations Center of the Army/Air Force and coalition partners (Classified Room) and finally to be flown at our flag staff, properly saluted by our entire USAF contingent during a Retreat ceremony or Memorial Day Service this week at Tallil/Ali Air Base/Camp Adder, Iraq.
Finally I will ship this flag to Kevin for all of Raptor Pack. This flag and all the important stops it makes will encompass our missions here to save Iraqis, promote justice/government and establish a sound economical system for generations to come. All these actions together amass to prevent all rocket fire as of late and has been a Godsend.
On this week (National Police Week) I pause to remember the thousands of police, sheriffs and deputies that lose thier life fighting hostilities nationwide as we the military fight a different set of hostilities.
Very Sincerely
MarAJ (AJ)

I echo Ravages sentiments here, AJ. What a meaningful symbol and reminder that will make for the squad. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. You do, indeed, Rock! Again, thanks to all of you who serve our nation with such dedication and honor.

Thanks guys, but to be honest its my honor.....I am so proud of my guys/gals here and how strong they are, where we protect such a big amount of land in the middle of a huge base, where we seem to draw the enemies fire so often as of late and it seems it will get worse over the summer as the Al Quieda try to squeeze out what looks like a campaign to prove they caused the Aussies to leave....NOT, its a swap Army unit in and Aussie unit out....we even get better, up to date equipment with this new unit that will help us beat them better/faster. I got the flag back yesterday from Predators, start on travels tomorrow and sent Stormbird a picture of it with the Predator Certificate last nite. Love you guys.

Flag was delivered today to Honor Guard in preparation to Fly on Memorial Morning at Sunrise in front of our Retreat Pad, for the entire USAF Contingent to witness......before it goes to the State Department later that morning for Blackwater to escort a State Department Mission next to an UNDISCLOSED LOCATION in southern Iraq.

Well I should be getting the flag back from the New England Army Guard Medivac Helo unit here today.....they had it for almost 2 weeks now as business has been slow for them so they fell behind on flights out with flags....they do this all the time. The fact we have little business wont make the news however they are the medivac helos for all south Iraq and having low business means our troops are KICKING Butt here and this is great....Monday a 2 Star announced they have kicked Al Quieda out of the last stronghold they had in Iraq. This was on the news from the States, why Media is downplaying it is crazy.....folks its been so quiet over here its crazy....cant tell you more but looks like they are running and hiding...lol. The direction they take has changed and is more like a lashing out of desperation now as they dwindle down.....President needs to make a statement NOW from a Carrier as we have really put them up against the WALL over here....US can claim victory. Now just little skirmishes. Flag should be getting mailed out within the week if I get it soon.....course I cant argue with no business (no medivacs) thats an awesome reason for the flag to be late. Smile

Fewer injuries is the best news, AJ. You won't hear any of us complaining. I'd be overjoyed to wait until everyone is sent home if it meant there would be no other need for the Medivacs.
Anyway, thanks for keeping us updated. Keep up the great job and stay safe! Thanks again.
