Post subject: Asking a small favor.
If all of you all would add my brother in-law into your prayers.
He has been diagnosed with two types of cancer, one in the neck
and maybe his head, and another on his bones, liver, pancrease
also in his blood.
He has worked hard, long and he has been honest with himself
and everyone else for 23 + years. We are very close and he has
had the PET scan and it aint lookin good. They have done the
bi opsy, waiting for more results. The only thing I ask
is that you would please add him in your prayers.
His name is John Matt. One hell of a person, We love him dearly.
Thanks in advance.

ďFor you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my motherís womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.Ē (Psalm 139: 13-26)
Oh Lord Jesus, our prayer today is for our brother John Matt. We know that you created him, and his inmost being. We know that you knit him together in his motherís womb. He is fearfully and wonderfully made by you, and we know that your works are wonderful and precious. We proclaim that all of Johnís days were ordained for him before even one of them came to be. We ask that now your will be done in his life. We do not presume anything at this point except that your will be done. If all his days have not been completed, we ask for miraculous healing right now. We pray in faith, believing that his life has yet to bear fruit for you. We also accept that, if it is your will, you may choose to end his suffering and bring him to his eternal home. Our hope still remains that you will heal him so he may remain with us.
We ask and proclaim all these things in the precious name of your Son, Jesus.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. My brother in-law
John (Johnnie) Matt passed away of cancer at 11:15p.m on 2/15/11.
He went quietly. He thanked everyone for all there thoughts and prayers
last night, so I thought I would pass it on to you all.

Sorry for your loss, Cheese. There is a bright side in this, though it may not seem so now.
No more suffering, no more pain. "To be separate from the body is to be present with the Lord."
Still keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless, brother.
